The question...

We had to answer a question, here is the question with my answer!

WHOLE SCHOOL PRODUCTION = FRESH & SMOOTH

 Fresh and Smooth = Introduction

Fresh and Smooth are yogurt containers, they get split up and both get eaten and LITTERED! They are brother and sister and REALLY miss each other, at first they are just trying to find each other BUT then they start to give up and have NO hope! Luckily They get picked up in a rubbish collection by Owairaka Primary (our SCHOOL) and are recycled into plant pots... AND meet each other!

Our bit ... WELLINGTON!

Our bit is when Dad takes Smooth for his packed lunch. He works in Wellington around the Beehive. The person who acts Dad (Remy) has to tell Dad jokes and LITTER Smooth But before that we do are dance!

Here is a bit of the script:

Dad picks up his lunch (a honey sandwich)

Dad: Eating a honey sandwich out side the beehive! 

Looks around no one laughs.

Whole school... Dress rehearsal! 

We did a WHOLE SCHOOL DRESS REHEARSAL before we did the BIG show. We did this so that us (the students) could see the play we were apart of and the Play. We had a BIG part of the play we were the fourth class to go on.

Over all i really enjoyed the production and congratulate all the OTHER classes that participated!

PB4L = Positive, behavior 4 Learning

 Empathy - Walk in their shoes!

Empathy is to think about other people and what is happening in their life and why they are acting like they do. We have been looking at Empathy lots in PB4L- positive behavior for/4 learning!

 We had to read about some kids and their background and answer the questions in a group. We learnt about why empathy is important and why we need to show it!  One of the reasons is if you are angry at some one you need to think about how you would feel if you were them and why it was upsetting to them.

You can also use Empathy to help find out why some one is bullying you or your friend!

Empathy is a EXTREMELY important to understanding other people, it is also good for solving problems!

VISITORS!

 TODAY WE HAD VISITORS FROM:

 Kainga Ora 

They told us about their Job... construction!!!  

Here is us looking at a AMAZING TRUCK and a little ROBOT camera!

They use the robot to see what they are digging from INSIDE the diggers! 

We took turns driving the camera and sitting in the front of the truck to.

We also got to ride in a little DIGGER, label bits on a construction site, Play a SLIME game and add to a GIANT neighborhood that all class's added to!

Cultural unity PROJECT

We are doing a cultural unity day project, you could research  about another culture or your own. I researched about FRANCE because my Dad use to live there and it interests me!
