Day 1: The journey This was it! The start of her adventure! | Ahhhhh! Wait… Yummy! I glided into a fluffy pink cloud, it tastes remarkably like cotton candy. There she is! A massive hot air balloon colored yellow and light pink. I float down to meet Amelia, Her brown hair flies around her white blouse. I land gently on the edge of the basket that lies beneath the balloon. “There you are Charlie!” she says as she removes the letter from my leg. “Good boy!” she says as she pats my vibrant blue and yellow feathers. She reads it out loud even though I am the only one listening. “Thank you for applying to the Paris writing academy! We are happy to announce that you have been accepted. We expect you to arrive on the 30 of September and on the Book fairy in Italy. Goodbye, Professor Goodwell, Deputy headmistress.” She finishes her eyes wide in shock. “Good parrot Charlie! You better go and say we can go!” Amelia picks up a bit of paper next to her, scribbles furiously. “Here you go, Charlie” She attaches the paper to my leg and told me the address of the academy. “See you soon!” . Ahh up in the air again, my feathers flying into the sunset. This was it! The start of my adventure! In three days Me and Amelia would be on our way to the Paris writing academy! AHHHH! Oh just another cloud, delicious… ☁☁☁ |
Day 2: The greatest storm The Earth began to shatter...tt | As the sun begins its descent into the dark sky and the clouds turn into cotton candy again a tower comes into my sight. “The academy!” I squawk breathlessly, as I take a break and start to slow down. “Only five more minutes, wings!” I talk mainly to my yellow and blue wings. I swop down to a truck and glide effortlessly on to the roof. “This should take us straight towards the academy '' I pant to my wings as my feathers blow around in the wild wind. The truck stops abruptly at the entrance of the massive tower. A tall man with greasy black hair gets out, a tinny German shepherd puppy follows him. “Oh no…” I think. The puppy looks up at me, opens its mouth to bark but it turns to its owner and walks back. He winks up at me before he prances into the car. “Phew, Good puppy” I think. The ride was uneventful except that the puppy kept coming out to check I was still there. Soon we had reached the gigantic tower, it was so tall that it cast a shadow on the truck. The car stopped suddenly, the puppy bounded out after its owner. The tiny dog raised its head up and sniffed thoroughly. He shook his head, the owner seemed to take this as nothing was near. The man picked the poor dog up with his massive arms and put him in the back of the truck. The puppy yips happily as the man leaves towards the tower. I glide down to thank the small shepherd puppy. “Thank you, you saved my life!” I told him appreciating what he had done for me. “Noproblem” He says clearly excited, not bothering to have a break between the words. “CanIcomewithyou?” He says. “ Umm, what?” I say confused. “Can. I Come. With. YOU!” He says slower than necessary. “Umm, I will see. Stay Here!” I say as I remember what I am here for. “OK” He says as I fly up to the top of the castle. Ahh back in the sky, I think as I get closer to the top of the towering castle. The note flapping on my leg I enter the top window. The magnificent room looked remotely like a jungle merged with a library. Birds of every color crowded the room, they sat on green rails that covered the wall. A desk sat in the middle of the room, sagging under the weight of all the papers. An old man was sitting barely visible through the paper weight. His white beard and hair whipped around in the wind, his glasses were fogged. His hand barely touching the quill that skimmed along the paper. He finished his letter and put it in an envelope. An owl swoops down and grabs its letter. I get ready and glide in gracefully to give the headmaster his message. I land carefully on top of some envelopes. He looks up smiling at me, “Hello Charlie, good boy.” He says as he detaches my letter. “There you go” I say, Uh oh I just spoke in front of him! “Ummm, squawk squawk?” I say unconvincingly. He didn’t look surprised though. “Don't worry, lots of other birds let it slip.” He takes the letter and starts to read. “Good, take this back to my niece please, Charlie.” He says “I bet she would like to hear directly from her Uncle. “ . I thank him before I take off again. “YIIIIIIIPPPPP” Oh not again, I guess i have to take him. “Hey, what's your name?” I shout down to the puppy. “Nick!” He barks back at me. “Nick follow me on foot” I shout at him, he jumps out of the back of the truck. His tail wacks him in his tiny face as he galops after me. ๐๐๐ The day! The day we take the book fairy to the academy. “Yip” Tim says as we approach the fairy. A magnificent boat with white paint and a giant mast. It looked more like a fancy pirate ship than a fairy, Golden imprint on the side of the boat made it even more fancy. More yipping as Tim gets onto the boat, “Just because I adopted you Timmy doesn't mean you can go flouncing everywhere.” says Amelia through giggles, Timmy continues to wiggle onto the fairy. We all start walking onto the beautiful boat behind Timmy. A guard came and greeted us. ’Coming on?’ he asked me. He was wearing a white uniform with a golden logo. Two pens crossed on top of some books |
